Our Facilities
Silver is committed to providing our customers with future proof voice and data services based on our dedicated fibre optic network. Our data centre is located in the state of the art Silver @The Exchange building in Varsity Central on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
Silver’s network at Varsity Central is a fully redundant Metro Ethernet network based on Telco grade networking equipment from Cisco Systems. It consists of a fibre optic Gigabit Ethernet ring that runs throughout the Varsity Central area, and provides connectivity to Silver’s core routers and also to any Silver enabled building.
Our core network consistsof redundant Routers, Switches, Voice servers and Voice gateways, located in different physical locations. Connectivity to the Internet is via an ITU-T STM-1 ATM connection.
